Built to inspire and inform, the Romoni blog needed more than just words on a page. It had to feel fresh, functional, and user-friendly—while staying true to the brand’s identity. From Figma to final deployment, every element was handcrafted for experience and clarity.
The goal was simple: make content easier to explore and worth coming back for. This was not just another blog—it was a custom system designed from the ground up.
The blog was designed from scratch in Figma with a clean, editorial layout focused on beauty and lifestyle content. I started with a responsive homepage layout that includes a full-width slider to spotlight trending stories and seasonal highlights. Each section was modularly built—allowing the Romoni team to reorder or update featured areas easily without needing to touch code.
I developed four core pages: a dynamic homepage, an organized category view, a seamless AJAX-powered search experience, and a distraction-free single blog page. The filtering system lets users drill down by interest or category instantly. I also created a custom loop to dynamically fetch recent and related content across the site—helping visitors stay engaged longer.
For performance, I optimized loading speeds and added lazy-loading on images, ensuring a snappy experience even on mobile. The backend is also tailored to non-tech editors, enabling easy post creation, thumbnail uploads, and scheduled publishing.
The client was genuinely happy with the transformation. They reported not only a 200% increase in blog traffic but also a noticeable boost in content sharing and repeat visitors.
In their words: “This finally feels like the kind of blog people want to browse and trust.”
